Who is SpeakEasy Sex Therapy?

About Me

I’m a qualified Psychosexual and Relationship Therapist, and I created SpeakEasy to offer a space where people can explore sex, intimacy, and relationships without fear of judgment or shame. These areas of life are deeply personal, and it takes courage to seek support. I aim to meet that courage with compassion, clarity, and care.

My Approach

My therapeutic style is warm, collaborative, and rooted in respect for your individuality. I work integratively, meaning I draw from multiple approaches—including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and psychodynamic therapy—to tailor our sessions to your unique goals, personality, and pace.

Some clients come to therapy to address specific issues, like pain during sex, low desire, or difficulties with arousal. Others are navigating identity questions, rebuilding trust in a relationship, or seeking to better understand themselves and their patterns. Whatever brings you here, my role is to support you in moving forward in a way that feels empowering and meaningful.

Professional Background & Experience

Alongside my private practice, I currently work with Brook, the UK’s leading sexual health and wellbeing charity for young people. In this role, I support students through healthy relationships and sex education workshops, as well as one-to-one sessions focused on building confidence, safety, and self-awareness. This work continually deepens my understanding of how early experiences shape our relationships with ourselves and others, and reinforces my belief in the power of open, age-appropriate conversations about sex and relationships at every stage of life.

I hold a Postgraduate Diploma in Psychosexual and Relationship Therapy and am a Registered Member of the College of Sexual and Relationship Therapists (COSRT). My training is accredited and meets the professional standards for working with individuals and couples on a wide range of sexual and relational concerns.

I also engage in ongoing professional development to ensure my practice is inclusive, trauma-informed, and affirming of all sexual orientations, gender identities, and relationship styles.

Who I Work With

I welcome adults of all genders, sexualities, and backgrounds. I have experience working with individuals and couples around:

  • Sexual pain and dysfunction (e.g., vaginismus, erectile difficulties, anorgasmia)

  • Low desire or desire discrepancies

  • Shame, trauma, and body image concerns

  • Gender identity and sexual orientation

  • Communication challenges and emotional disconnect in relationships

  • Non-monogamy, kink, and alternative relationship structures

Therapy with me is never about “fixing” you—it’s about understanding your story, making sense of your experience, and helping you create a more connected, fulfilling relationship with yourself and others.

If you're curious about working together, I’d love to hear from you.
